A dark shadow stands gazing out of the upper floor window of an abandoned building in the middle of town. His piercing red eyes gaze outward following the little SUV, slowly navigating the streets below. Its eyes narrow in anger as three of Heaven’s soldiers, drifting along near the SUV, come into view. The demon recognizes the angels can only mean one thing; Christians are in town. The demon watches as they pass, aware that the angels can feel his presence. He steps back away from the window, turning toward several others in the room. "The Ruler in Heaven has sent Christians into my town.” His fists clench, causing the others to tense, waiting for his wrath. “I will not allow this. Move out to make sure they are not planning to remain.” The shadowy figure turns back to the window as the others explode out of the room in search of the Christians.
